My Thoughts...
This is another great book by Harriet Muncaster! This time, we follow Emerald - a mermaid princess - who is getting ready for her first Ocean parade.
Just like Harriet's other books, this one is filled with beautiful illustrations, kind characters and an underlying message of being true to yourself and doing what makes you feel confident!
🌟This is a lovely book for readers young and old and would be a great way for less confident readers to begin building their confidence🌟

Emerald is learning how to be a mermaid princess, but she doesn't feel like one at all. She's not very good at waving to crowds and royal headdresses just aren't her thing - her hair is too spiky and wild. Emerald's wriggly pet octopus, Inkibelle, doesn't much like living at the royal palace either.
